Hotels in the mountains

There are many kinds of hotels in the mountains: from the very elegant 4 stars or onwards wellness hotels in Italy, which represent the latest holidays in the mountains fashion, till the rustic farm, where you can get acquainted with the traditional South Tyrol farming customs. There are many other kinds of hotels in the mountains: the bed & breakfast and the garnis (hotels with no restaurant) both offer a buffet breakfast. Another difference between a B&B in Italy and garnis is that the latter is more alike to a traditional hotel in the mountains, while the B&B in the Dolomites is a smaller structure, offering two or three bedrooms, offering breakfast as well. The hotels in the mountains offer “children- tailored” holidays in the Dolomites, if they belong to the “Familienhotels”, where children are the kings!
